Our motto: Start With I Can™ About us: Overview Labs Companies, Inc., branded and doing business as Labs, is a human-enhancement technology company headquartered in Santa Monica, California, formed in 2024. The company was restructured from LavLabs Inc. and is now composed of seven core multi-labs and several distinct extended-labs, each specializing in different technological advancements. Labs is focused on advancing human capabilities and building interconnected communities through cutting-edge technologies that span AI, digital economies, immersive realities, consumer-wearables and social experiences. Our name "Labs" is a celebration to the field of Chemistry and the test-tube emblem is nicknamed Chemí (/kim-me/), which is short for Chemistry. Our goal is to actively promote sustainable practices, while encouraging our teams to be creative across all elements of our family of companies, brands, jobs and initiatives. Labs Foundations serves as the umbrella name for both 5227.org (non-profit foundation) and Lifthumankind.org (for-profit foundation and impact fund), supporting Labs Companies’ commitment to sustainable practices, environmental responsibility, and social impact initiatives. As a proud participant in the Pledge 1% initiative, Labs contributes 1% of its net proceeds, 1% of its people resources, and 1% of its PSPT focus towards these foundations. The Labs Foundations prioritize sustainable tech initiatives, S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) education, and providing scholarship opportunities to underserved communities, driving meaningful impact through innovation and support.
